The Rivalry Book Cover

Kudos once again to Wes Lowe, for yet another amazing cover illustration. Wes has been a part of my team for well over a decade. His art has graced the cover of every novel I’ve written, including the Luke and Jenny series of historical novels, which were written under a different name.

Rivalry is the story of a May-December romance. The inspiration comes from two sources. The first was reader feedback, from The Reunion, my first contemporary romance novel. Readers particularly enjoyed a quasi-romance between Gillian and Ian’s son, Jeremy. This time around I decided to reverse the roles and do the more traditional version, with the man being older than the woman.

Jenna, an interior designer, needs to commission a sculpture for one of her clients. Her boss has told them she knows the perfect artist for the job. Unfortunately, her boss has spoken too seen. The artist is actually one of her former professors, and she hasn’t seen or heard from him in over a decade. A co-worker has suggested she Google him, but there is more to the story. Jenna also fell in love with her former instructor when she was his student. However, she never told him how she really felt.

Rivalry will be available in the summer of 2024.
